Thom Yorke’s other band, Atoms for Peace, will play The Daily Show with Jon Stewart next Thursday, September 26th, according to Consequence of Sound.
Yorke apparently has a fondness for satirical news shows on Comedy Central: Radiohead stunned the music community by playing on The Colbert Report back in 2011, in delayed promotion of their last studio album, The King of Limbs.
Meanwhile, Atoms for Peace will kick off their world tour next Tuesday with a gig in Philadelphia. The band (which also includes bass-god Flea, producer-instrumentalist Nigel Godrich, and percussionists Joey Waronker and Mauro Refosco) released their debut LP, AMOK, back in February.
