On April 2 Rilo Kiley will release the cleverly named RKives, a 16-track collection of rarities, B-sides and unreleased songs. With the Los Angeles-based act technically still in the midst of a dreaded “extended hiatus,” they turned to the power of crowd-sourcing by posting a message on their website asking fans to upload their “favorite personal Rilo Kiley video clip, band footage, created animation, etc.” in order to help make the video for the record’s lead single Let Me Back In.
Jenny Lewis & Co. have now uploaded the finished product for the tune, which longtime fans may know better as I Love L.A., supplementing the submissions with their own behind-the-scenes tour footage. Let’s check out the results…
